Visit Norway spends $25 million annually on marketing Norway as a tourist destination, and the new website is an important part of their work.
Having been under construction for over a year, the site contains much more information about scuba diving than before.
Visit Norway also say they will be paying special attention to scuba diving in the future.
A spectacular divesite
The image shows the unique underwater bridge in lake Lygnstølsvatnet, which didn't excist until 1908 when a huge rockslide closed off the river Lygna in the Norang valley in Møre & Romsdal on the Norwegian west coast.
The water almost immidiately started to rise and soon covered the diary farm houses, rock fences, gates and an entire forest - leaving it all submerged and almost suspended in time.
