Wetpixel's Picture of the Week #409 is concluded, and my little lonely nudibranch was voted into 9th place. The contest attracted 60 entries last week.

Wetpixel themes include many different topics, and competition #409 was entitled "Lonely".
Many different images from all over the world participated, and I chose to enter the picture above, which I thought fit the bill perfectly.

I thought this particular specimen looked very lonely, and the unusual angle - from behind - underlines this. The picture was taken at Gulen Dive Resort on the Norwegian west coast.
Peer review
Voting is done by the participants themselves, or by other visitors to Wetpixels contest pages - thus no jury is involved. A vote from a logged-in user counts twice as much as other votes.
The Wetpixel Picture of the Week contest is open for anyone, and attracts participants from all over the world. You should enter too!
It is both fun and a good learning experience to take part, not to mention trying to guess which images will do well and not.
