Portfolio in Ultimate Depth

Russian dive magazine Predelnaya Glubina is running a series of underwater photographer portfolios - and in their June issue it was my turn to show off some of my best images for the Russian audience.

Predelnaya Glubina (Ultimate Depth) is the largest Russian dive magazine, with a circulation of 15.000 and a readership that spans Russia, the Baltic, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus.

In their June 2012 issue they spent 8 pages presenting a portfolio with some of my best images shot around the world over the last few years.

Laundry: This image was shot for the Nordic Championships in 2010, where it was awarded a gold medal.

The portfolio includes images from Malta, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde, Ireland and Norway and shows an arrow crab, a plumose anemone, a nudibranch, a shark's eye and a parrotfish.

The main image shows Stuart Rhys-Jones of Dive Malta posing above the chimney of the wreck Um El Fahroud off the coast of Malta.

A close-up of the eye of a smallspotted catshark, Scyliorhinus canicula.

The editor also chose my image of a goldentail moray (right) for the cover of this issue, which also includes my feature about diving at Gulen Dive Resort on the Norwegian west coast.

Russia's biggest dive magazine

Ultimate Depth is distributed through 280 dive clubs and 250 diveshops and newsstands in 150 Russian and east European cities, as well as seleceted diveshops in Egypt and Thailand.
