Danish dive magazine Sportsdykkeren have published my Gulen story in their April 2012 issue. The magazine also features my image of the wreck of MV Bandak on the cover. Posted on Apr 10, 2012 Sportsdykkeren has chosen diving in Norway as the theme for this edition, and the editors have dedicated a total of 14 pages to this fabulous cold-water destination. The special is spearheaded by my Gulen story, presented on a 5-page spread:
Visit Norway The readers gets plenty of general advice about travelling and diving, including a four-page run-through of the ten best diving areas in Norway. This text is heavily inspired by the diving information found on the Visit Norway homepage - which I incidentally wrote for them a few years ago. » Ten recommended scuba diving places in Norway The text is available in 13 languages, so feel free to click and have a look. Sportsdykkeren have elaborated on the text and added more details, travel advice and websites to visit - well done!
Gulen - In a class of its own The story is about the fantastic diving offered by Gulen Dive Resort just north of Bergen on the Norwegian west coast. It covers both the spectacular wreck diving as well as the amazing marine life in the area. If you want this story for your magazine, please don't hesitate to get in touch! » Please click here to read more about the Gulen story
Many Danish divers visit Norway every year, but it is fun to be able to show those who have not yet been here what diving in Gulen is like. Sportsdykkeren is the membership publication of the Danish Sportsdiver Federation, and is distrubuted to their 8.000 members six times a year. » Click here to visit Sportsdykkeren magazine |
