The different animal species are presented in a natural, systematic order and are illustrated with more than 1.000 high-quality in situ images.

A superb book

Based on sound science and wreathed with real life pictures this superb book not only allows you to name their names but to understand the roles each creature plays in the balance of marine life", professor David Bellamy writes in the foreword.

The text is highy informative and provides insight into the species' way of life, behaviour and the role they play in the drama of nature.

Affectionately known as "the bible" in the diving community, the book has contributed greatly to the general knowlegde of life in the oceans.

In Norwegian, Swedish - and English!

The book was first published in Norwegian in 1999, and since then "Dyreliv i Havet" has become a must-have for anyone with an interest in marine fauna in Norway.

In 2004 an English editition was published, and in 2009 a Swedish edition followed. The books can be purchased directly from the publisher or even from Amazon.
