The book Marine Fish & Invertebrates of Northern Europe by marine biologist Frank Emil Moen and underwater photographer Erling Svensen is simply in a class of it's own.

The wonderfully colorful and diverse marine life of the temperate coasts of Norway and neighboring contries are presented on over 600 pages.

The different animal species are presented in a natural, systematic order and are illustrated with more than 1.000 high-quality in situ images.

The text is highy informative and provides insight into the species' way of life, behaviour and the role they play in the drama of nature.

Affectionately known as "the bible" in the diving community, the book has contributed greatly to the general knowlegde of life in the oceans.

In Norwegian, Swedish - and English!

The book was first published in Norwegian in 1999, and since then "Dyreliv i Havet" has become a must-have for anyone with an interest in marine fauna in Norway.

In 2004 an English editition was published, and in 2009 a Swedish edition followed. The books can be purchased directly from the publisher or even from Amazon.

The English version of the book was published in 2004, and the species are presented over 608 pages with over 1.000 color photographs.
