Norwegian nudibranch paradise

Hungarian diving website thinks nudibranchs are very cool, and they have published my short story about the Nudibranch Safari on their website - under the title "Norwegian nudibranch paradise".

Posted on Feb 19, 2014

The house reef of Gulen Dive Resort where the Nudibranch Safari is held is truly a nudibranch paradise. In total, a staggering 63 of Norway's nudibranch species have been identified here.

This makes it the most diverse, documented nudibranch habitat in the north Atlantic, and every year something new and exciting turns up at the Nudibranch Safari.

If you're interested in nudibranchs and want to learn more, the best way is to join the Nudibranch Safari at Gulen Dive Resort on the Norwegian west coast!

The house reef of the resort is teeming with nudibranchs in March, and the event features internationally renowned nudibranch experts, underwater photographers and divers from all over Europe.

They gather every year to learn more about underwater photography and nudibranch biology, reproduction, feeding habits, behaviour and identification.

Juvenile specimens of the Bushy-backed slug Dendronotus frondosus is usually very common in shallow water at the Nudibranch Safari.

I'm very happy that Hungarian divers get to know more about the Nudibranch Safari, and I'm also pleased to be published in Hungary for the second time.
