Shooting black backgrounds is not necessarily very hard - but it can be very rewarding. The subjects stand out in a spectacular way, letting their brilliant colors shine unhindered.

You don't have to go on a night dive to get black backgrounds, although it certainly makes it easier. But if you know how to tweak the settings on your camera you can easily achieve the same effect during daytime too.
