The Scubapixel database has been updated with 60+ images, many of the from a trip to Sveggvika Dive Resort in August 2012. The area offers great diving - have a look here! Posted on Apr 10, 2013 The PADI resort at Sveggvika opened in 2011, and I was invited to join the editor of Dykking magazine on a press trip to check out both facilities and diving. The area just west of Kristiansund offers some great diving opportunities. Huge kelp forests, soft coral reefs, a teeming fish and invertebrate life and even some great wrecks.
I have added around 40 images from this trip to the database, and as usual they can be found using numerous search tags. The easiest is however to use this link: » Click here to browse images from Sveggvika Dive Resort The resort is run by Jaanus Relo and his girlfriend Anette, and they offer acommodation, kayaking and other activites in addition to diving. Here is a video they posted on YouTube in April 2011: The local newspaper Tidens Krav stopped by to make a story while we were there, and their sporty journalist even took the time to take a Discover Scuba class.
