Liveaboard in Croatia

I went on a liveaboard cruise among the islands of Croatia and was thoroughly impressed with what the Adriatic Sea had to offer - both below and above the surface.

Croatia offers excellent, vividly colorful diving and an amazing landscape. There is no better way to explore it than on a liveaboard like the Vranjak, which takes you to the dazzling islands of the Kornati national park and beyond.

Croatia is close by and a very popular destination among European divers. Now you can share this experience with your readers!

The diving in Croatia was surprisingly colorful. Purple and orange coral fans, crystal clear water and interesting macro life made this a great trip.

Diving in the Adriatic Sea is easy and very rewarding: Colorful gorgonians and a teeming fish life, clear blue water and plenty of interesting macro life in the shallows.

The Vranjak liveaboard makes just two dives a day, which at first may seem little. But this leaves time to enjoy the scenery, swim, snorkel and relax.

Unique landscape and picturesque villages

The landscape in the Kornati Islands National Park was incredibly tranquil and beautiful, and Vranjak took us for a spectacular sightseeing trip in addition to the diving.

The Kornati national park was a beautiful area. For a week, we cruised among the islands, enjoying great dives during the day and red wine at night.

Every evening the boat docks in a new village - one of the unique features of this trip. After dinner it's time to explore the beachfront and visit cosy restaurants and sample the local wine, cheese and olives.

A liveaboard trip like this is an ideal, romantic getaway for couples. You will have plenty of time for each other - as well as great diving!

The Vranjak I liveaboard was set to sea in June 2012, and has room for up to 20 divers.
