I have added a few images from the Maldives to the ScubaPixel database. Not many - they are some of my first underwater images, shot with an Olympus C5050-Z compact camera. Posted on Jan 13, 2006 Diving in the Maldives was a great experience. I did one week on a liveaboard cruising through the south Male and Ari atoll, before the dropped me off at the island of Bathala. Here, I enjoyed more local diving and the great house reef, which completely surrounds the 130-meter in diameter island. Olympus compact camera This was the first trip I had a digital camera - an Olympus C5050-Z. A very good camera for its day, the Olympus gave me great pleasure and helped me learn a lot about underwater photography. Unfortunately, the man behind the camera was not completely up to speed, a factor that greatly contributed to the fact that I have very few images from this trip.
