Manatees - Cuddly Seacows

Manatees are some of the sweetest sea creatures you'll ever find. In Crystal Springs they are everywhere, and happily approach you as soon as you get into the water - they want to be scratched on their bellies!

Posted on Sep 25, 2008

Manatees love to be scratched and cuddled, and will happily chew at your fingers with their gums. They are curious almost to the naive, and love divers.

Snorkelling with them is an experience of a lifetime, ranking just as high as seeing a whaleshark under water!

In general, manatees are threatened by extinction and loss of natural habitats. Not so in Florida, where they thrive in the warm water of the Crystal Springs.

This 2.000 word story will captivate your readers and make them want to go and see these cuddly animals for themselves!
