Tropical Atlantic: Cape Verde

Cape Verde is a true tropical paradise - in the Atlantic Ocean. The former Portuguese colony offers great diving with schools of fish, wrecks and stunning caves where the bottom is covered with shark's teeth.

I have on offer an exciting story about diving at this new and refreshingly different destination. Share it with your readers and be the one to influence their travel plans - instead of writing about places they have already visited!

Not too many divers have yet visited Cape Verde, 500 kilometers off the coast of Senegal - which is a shame, because the islands offer some spectacular diving experiences.

The fabulous salt water caverns at Sal island are some of the most spectacular in the world, and the fact that the bottom of some of them are littered with shark's teeth gives the experience an extra edge...

But cave diving is not all Cape Verde has to offer: Schools of fish, great macro life, a couple great wreck dives and beautiful, tropical beaches lined with palm trees makes this a great all-round destination for everyone.

Cape Verde's location far out in the Atlantic Ocean where huge ocean currents converge creates a unique blend of fish and invertebrates found nowhere else.

Getting to Cape Verde is easy from most European countries, either with direct charter flights or via some of the major hubs like Lisbon, Amsterdam or Frankfurt. The national airline TACV Cabo Verde Airlines even have seasonal flights from Poland, Italy and France.

The nudibranch Hypselodoris picta is endemic to Cape Verde and Sao Tome islands, and is easily one of the most beutiful sea slugs in the world.

Get this story for your magazine!

The 2.300 word story covers cave diving, wreck diving and reef diving, and comes with 125+ high-quality images (both underwater and topside) which give a great impression of what it's like to visit the island of Sal.

Get in touch today and share this wonderful tropical paradise in the Atlantic ocean with your readers! The text and imsges are ready and can be delivered on short notice.
